Still Its Raining........

In the intervals of high fever, I get back to consciousness. I could hear my growling breath.Apart from that the room is filled with nauseating silence. I could hear the sound of rain which fellover yonder valley. It reminds me of the precious moments presented to me by rain in past. How can I re-create those moments that allured me so much.I can’t recreate the feel with words .My breath growl louder as the feelings waves through my veins.
It was a rainy day when I saw her first.It was twilight. I took refuge under a roof from heavy rain. I saw two hands that fondle rain drops.At first sight I liked the mind which tries to feel rain.The rain drops were splits in to laughter by the caring fondles of the slender fingers.I was curious to know who it is. My vision was partially blurred in the stream of heavy rain.In the lightning that followed, I could glance at her. She was standing on the balcony of the attic bedroom. She wore a pale blue outfit with long trailing black skirt. A wisp of hair hid her face from me. I could see the beautiful eyes in the soothing silver streaks of lightening. It seems her eyes behold the calmnessof a windless deep sea and the alluring silenceof the space. It is dreamy and expressive.She was conversing with somebody, perhaps with rain itself, with a soul inspiring smile. I could not make out her face. Every rain that followed reminds me of the face that allured me in disguise.Can I see the face ever? Can I see the lips thatbloom in to beautiful smile again? Can I see those eyes which led me to the unknown shores of silence?
I was sitting in the veranda. There was a drizzle after rain outside. The paddy field spreads around were overflowing. Someone is frolicking through the walking trail of the field.In one hand she carried an umbrella and with the other hand she held her skirt up a bit.She was splashing water with her beautiful feet.The drapes of the skirt were wet in rain.For a moment I could get a glimpse of her face throughthe umbrella. The face I want to see in all these days, but it was hid under the wisp of hair,this time it was covered by the frothy sprinklesof rain. With a mesmerizing smile she walks away.Now I am in sick bed. The sound of the tiny bells in the anklets reverberates in my ears now also.
My senses slowly fade away. I could seethe nurses rushing in to the room. My eyes slowlywent up as I could hear my loud gasps. slowlyI was drawn out of the conscious world.
Now I am frantically run towards the cliff as if someone is waiting there for me.I am panting and gasping as my feet can not pace with my mind.Now on the cliff I could see the clouds coming on to me, fading the beautiful scenery of the valley.The clouds drew to me fast. My body is trembling in expectation. My breath is fuming in high fever. I can now hear the swirls of her pirouette with the hurls of the drapes of her skirt.Slowly she came in and embraces me.I can feel the calmness of her presence now.I can sense the softness of her entrancing smile that melts in to my lips. My body started to quiver vehemently in her touch.She fills in my conscience as fragrance that enslaves me totally. I can feel the cozy wetnessthat drench me and I can overhear the music of the rain that spreads the valley altogether.I can feel those beautiful hands hold me abreast that I drifted in the flurry of unknown emotions.
Slowly I was swept away to the magical world.
* * * * * * *
I slowly opened my eyes as the soft warm sun rays patted on my cheek. Now I am lying undera tree in a garden.I could not find any clouds there.I lay there drench fully soaked up.Now I feel no fever, no headache. I feel nowI reached a world of no pain.I could see the nurses wearing white frilled frocks, oh they even have wings too.Their smiles seem angelic now. I look up. I can see a drop of rain is on the tip of a leaf on the tree,which tends to fall on me. I close my eyes expecting it to fall on my forehead.I don't want to lose even the last drop of the feel that allured my lifealtogether. I want to carry it to the new world as well.
